Starr Regional Medical Center Auxiliary
Auxiliary Membership Application
The Starr Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is a structured, organized group of volunteers whose purpose is to support hospital staff and programs that ensure a positive patient experience. The group gathers for monthly meetings and annual events. Members are asked to serve one, four-hour shift per week with opportunities available in the mornings, afternoons and weekends, on both campuses to best accommodate the volunteer’s schedule.
Service & Generosity
The Auxiliary is an invaluable asset and its members play an integral role in fulfilling Starr Regional’s mission of making communities healthier®. Auxiliary members manage the Kozy Korner Gift Shop on both campuses, host fundraisers and serve the patients, providers and staff at our hospital. A few of the group’s major projects include the purchase of a transport van for Starr Regional Health & Rehabilitation (SRHR), a skilled-nursing and long-term care facility; monetary support for SRHR’s activities fund; and creating a welcoming environment for our patients and patient families in common areas and the Chapels on both campuses.
How can you become an Auxiliary member?
Auxiliary membership is open to men and women age 21 and older. Interested individuals must complete an application, which is available in the gift shops or may be downloaded using the link below. Prior to volunteering at the hospital, members must attend an orientation.
